It’s hard to improve on White Lily’s famous biscuits – they’re the South’s gold standard for a reason. But now and then, everyone gets an itch to experiment. Here are 6 of our favorite ways to switch things up. Each one begins with our basic biscuit recipe – all you have to do is mix in a few flavorful additions and bake as usual. Or feel free to try your own improvisations!

Pimento Cheese
Prep a batch of Famous White Lily Biscuits, adding ¼ cup of drained, chopped pimentos and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese along with the milk. Bake as directed and serve warm, slathered with hot pepper jelly.

Lemon Basil
Prep a batch of Famous White Lily Biscuits, adding 1 tablespoon of lemon zest and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped basil along with the milk. Bake as directed and serve warm with butter and marmalade.

Ambrosia
Prep a batch of Famous White Lily Biscuits, adding ¼ cup of chopped dried apricots, 2 tablespoons of slivered almonds and ¼ cup of shredded coconut along with the milk. Bake as directed and serve warm with marshmallow creme.

Mustard and Chive

Strawberry Honey

Bacon Ranch
