- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup Smucker's® Blackberry Preserves, or any variety fruit preserves (Strawberry, Blueberry, Apricot, Cherry)
- Blend and serve on hot biscuits, pancakes, bagels or muffins. Store covered in refrigerator.

When making biscuits, pack vegetable shortening into a measuring cup so there are no air pockets. Cut it into the flour with a pastry blender, 2 knives, or a fork.
