Bacon, Egg and Hash Brown Biscuit Bake

Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
9 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 tablespoon ground mustard
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups White Lily® Enriched Bleached Self-Rising Flour
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
3 cups frozen country-style shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed and patted dry
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese
1/2 cup (2 oz.) shredded Parmesan cheese
1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled

  1. HEAT oven to 400°F. Spray 13 x 9-inch baking dish with no-stick cooking spray. Beat eggs, milk, sour cream, garlic salt, mustard and pepper in large bowl with whisk until blended. Set aside.
  2. PLACE flour in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk. Stir just until dough leaves sides of bowl. Press into bottom of prepared dish with floured hands.
  3. STIR potatoes, onions and cheeses into egg mixture until blended. Pour over dough. Spread evenly. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with bacon. Cool 10 minutes before serving.

Date Nut Crumble Coffee Cake

Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray

Streusel
2 1/2 cups White Lily® Enriched Bleached All-Purpose Flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened and sliced
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Filling
1 cup chopped dates
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cake
2 3/4 cups White Lily Enriched Bleached All-Purpose Flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream

  1. HEAT oven to 350°F. (325°F, if using dark metal pan). Spray 10-inch tube pan with no-stick cooking spray. Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt in large bowl. Cut 1 cup butter into flour mixture with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. COMBINE dates and orange juice in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until juice is absorbed. Remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 cup pecans. Cool.
  3. WHISK together 2 3/4 cups flour, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon salt in medium bowl. Beat 3/4 cup butter and granulated sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer at medium high speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream at medium speed, just until blended.
  4. SPOON half the batter into prepared pan, spreading to edges of pan. Top with half the streusel. Spoon date mixture over streusel. Add remaining batter, spreading to edges of pan. Stir 1/2 cup pecans into remaining streusel. Sprinkle over top of batter.
  5. BAKE 1 1/2 hours (1 hour and 10 minutes for dark metal pans) or until wooden skewer or long knife inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 20 minutes. Loosen inner and outer edges of cake from pan with thin knife. Remove from pan. Slice and serve warm.

Orange Cranberry Crunch Muffin

Muffins
Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
2 cups White Lily® Enriched Bleached Self-Rising Flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup dried, sweetened cranberries
1 to 2 tablespoons grated orange peel

Glaze
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted

  1. HEAT oven to 400°F. Spray 12 standard or 6 jumbo muffin cups with no-stick cooking spray or line with paper baking cups.
  2. MIX together flour and granulated sugar in a medium bowl. Blend together milk, butter, egg and vanilla in small bowl. Stir into flour mixture just until combined. Batter will be lumpy.
  3. FOLD in cranberries and orange peel. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes on wire rack.
  4. STIR together powdered sugar and orange juice in small bowl. Drizzle over warm muffins. Sprinkle with almonds.
